Brittany DoringLPC / LMHC-D

Living a meaningful life can be difficult in society's fast-paced, hustle culture. If you struggle with saying no, expressing your needs, or putting yourself first, let's work together to find your balance again — with a little bit of tears (or a lot, totally optional) and hopefully some laughter too.

About Brittany

A genuine conversation, not a clinical script

Therapy, to me, feels like a genuine conversation between two people. I show up as myself — curious, engaged, and thoughtful. I'll ask questions, offer new perspectives, and help you build insight and practical tools so you can feel more like yourself again.

I've spent the last 10 years working alongside clients navigating anxiety, big life transitions, and the particular weight of trying to hold everything together. Whether you're preparing for a baby, recovering from burnout, or simply tired of putting everyone else first, my goal is to help you understand the patterns that keep you stuck — and build a life that feels more like your own.

My work centers on three things: mindfulness & grounding, boundaries & communication, and self-compassion. Session to session, we'll come back to these as the foundation for lasting change.

I'm based in Bergen County and work with clients throughout New Jersey and New York, including Bergen County and New York City, all through secure telehealth.

Getting Started

How It Works

We'll spend 15 minutes on the phone so you can share what's going on and ask any questions before committing to anything.

  2. 2

    Schedule Your First Session

If it feels like a good fit, we'll find a time that works for your schedule and get your first session on the calendar.
